
Hi! I'm Malika.
A Ferrandi-trained chef, mom of four, and your guide to simple, joyful plant-based eating.
I was born in Ivory Coast and grew up moving between Niger, Ivory Coast, and Senegal. Later, I lived in France and Montreal, and now I'm building a life in the United States with my husband Justin and our four kids.
Food has always been at the center of my world, from my early years cooking alongside family, to earning a French bakery degree from Ferrandi while working full-time in accounting.
But somewhere along the way, I made eating healthy way too complicated. I followed trends. I obsessed over rules. I made food stressful.
It took me years to arrive at something simple: the best way to eat is the one you can actually sustain with real food, real flavors, and real life.
Today I eat a whole-food, plant-based diet inspired by the seasonal, colorful, naturally abundant foods I grew up with. I cook for my family. I keep it simple. And I share everything I learn so you don't have to figure it out alone.

A Little More About My Life
I'm a property accountant by profession, a chef at heart, and a woman who believes deeply in growth, simplicity, and family.
I raise four kids with my husband Justin: Marlow, Nahim, Thea and Lyndon, and I do all of this while working full-time and building a wellness brand I truly believe in.
My cooking is shaped by where I've lived and who I've loved: the bold, colorful flavors of West Africa, the techniques I learned through my culinary training, and the daily creativity that comes from feeding a big, busy family.
