🎯What This Post Is About
If you’ve ever wondered whether 10X Fitness from Mindvalley is worth trying, this post is for you. I’m sharing my real-life experience; what worked, what didn’t, and the lessons I’m carrying forward as I continue building a strong, sculpted body on a plant-based lifestyle.
1. Why I Tried 10X Fitness
Like many busy women, I don’t have hours to spend at the gym every day. Between work, kids, my husband and building my wellness business, I needed something time-efficient but effective.
That’s exactly what attracted me to 10X Fitness. The promise was simple: just 15–20 minute workouts per session, designed to maximize muscle growth and strength. The idea of doing less but gaining more was so appealing.
2. What I Loved About the Program
What I loved most about 10X Fitness from Mindvalley was how it showed me that workouts can fit into my busy schedule with some time-efficient, simple sessions that still deliver real results.
Overall, I had a lot of value from this program. Here are the parts I truly loved:
- It helped me build a routine. I started waking up early on a consistent basis and going to the gym most mornings, which gave me momentum and consistency. The cadence of “showing up” became natural.
- I felt more connected to my body. 10X taught me how muscle building really works: moving the weight at a steady pace, focusing on my breath, and paying attention to the muscle I was targeting.
- Easy to customize workouts. The framework made it simple to adapt sessions and switch exercises.
- Variety of exercises. I discovered how important it is to work different muscle groups, and why that balance matters for building strength across the whole body.
- Simplicity works. Perhaps my biggest takeaway: workouts don’t have to be complicated. A few basic, effective moves, done with focus, and progressive overload (adding weight once 12 reps become easy) can truly deliver results. And you don’t need to live in the gym to see changes.
With 10X Fitness from Mindvalley, I realized that workouts don’t need to be overly complex.

3. What Fell Short for Me
That said, there were some clear gaps in the program for me:
- Little emphasis on nutrition. The workouts were great, but nutrition wasn’t. Since I believe fitness results are about 90% nutrition, this left me searching for answers.
- Personal goals weren’t addressed. I wanted more guidance on how to train for specific outcomes like sculpted abs, a firmer butt, and stronger legs.
- Accountability was missing. While the concept was solid, I often wished for more check-ins, motivation, or something more, to keep me on track.
While 10X Fitness from Mindvalley has great workouts, nutrition support could be enhanced.
In discussing my personal goals, 10X Fitness from Mindvalley didn’t fully address my specific training and nutrition needs.
4. My Biggest Takeaway
Even with its shortcomings, I’m grateful for what I learned. 10X showed me that fitness doesn’t need to take over your life to be effective. By focusing on form, breathing, muscle connection, and progressive strength, you can simplify your workouts and still see growth.
It reshaped how I see training: quality over quantity.
5. What Came Next
After completing 10X, I realized I needed a program that offered both fitness and nutrition support, clear progressions, and more accountability. That’s when I discovered Build With Science, a program that checks all those boxes.
But that’s a story for another blog post.
6. Want to Try 10X Fitness Yourself?
If you’re curious about this program, I’d say it’s an excellent starting point for learning how to build strength in less time. It may not cover every detail (especially nutrition), but it can absolutely shift your mindset around what effective training looks like.

Who is the owner of 10x fitness?
10X Fitness is a program created by Mindvalley, a global personal growth platform founded by Vishen Lakhiani. The workout method itself was developed by fitness experts Ronan Oliveira and Lorenzo Delano, who designed it to maximize results in minimal time.
Are there 10x fitness success stories?
Yes! Many people inside the Mindvalley community share their results, from gaining strength and muscle tone to feeling more energized and confident. You can find stories on Mindvalley’s website, in their member forums, and across social media. Everyone’s journey looks different, but the common thread is that 10X helps people reframe fitness as something simple and achievable.
Does 10x fitness require a gym membership?
Not necessarily. The program can be done with basic equipment like dumbbells, resistance bands, or machines if you have access to them. While many people do use a gym for convenience, it’s flexible enough to adapt to home workouts as long as you have a few essentials.
What are the long-term benefits of 10x fitness?
The biggest long-term benefit is consistency. Because the workouts are short and focused, it’s easier to stick with them. Over time, you’ll build strength, improve muscle tone, and increase confidence in your body. More importantly, it shifts your mindset: you learn that you don’t need hours in the gym to stay fit, which makes fitness sustainable for the long haul.
